Das Schwalbenpaar

Das klingt so schön und felsenfest
aus Kraft und Glück ein Schwalbennest
sie fliegen ein, sie fliegen aus
und immer zieht es sie nach Haus
wo Licht ist, ist auch Schatten
sonnige Hügel, warme Matten
an ihren Flügeln sollt ihr sie erkennen
schillernd und voller Liebe sie bekennen
wir sind ein rechtes Schwalbenpaar
und soll noch sein so manches Jahr

That sounds so nice and rock solid
strength and happiness from a swallow nest
they fly, they fly from
and always takes it home
where light is, there is also shadow
sunny hills, warm mats
on their wings shall you know them
dazzling and full of love they profess
we are a right pair of swallows
and so should still be some years
